    New and classic works by leading British sculptor Sir Anthony Cragg will be at the centre of his biggest UK exhibition to date at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Opening on 4 March 2017, “A Rare Category of Objects” will present pioneering works by the Wuppertal-based artist drawn from nearly five decades.

    German artist Gerhard Richter is on display at the Whitechapel Gallery’s exhibition A Handful of Dust from 7 June to 3 September. Highlighting the motif of dust, curator and writer David Campany conceived the show as a speculative history of the 20th century.

    Opening at Kensington Palace in June, a major new exhibition 'Enlightened Princesses: Caroline, Augusta, Charlotte and the Shaping of the Modern World' explores the lives and achievements of three German princesses whose marriage into the British royal family placed them at the very heart of progress in the eighteenth century.

  • 23 June - 15 October 2017 | Tate Liverpool | Portraying a Nation: Germany 1919–1933

    Private drawings by German artist Otto Dix will go on display for the first time in the UK, alongside works from photographer August Sanders from 23 June at the Tate Liverpool. The drawings shed a new light on the artist who was known for his harshly realistic depictions of war and society.
